JCI- Ranipet Power City Jaycees
Ranipet Power City Jaycees (RPTPCJC) of Zone XVI was started on 20.04.1996 with around 25 members of BHEL Ranipet. Every year the chapter activities will be Governed by a team of 12 members including the President, Secretary & Treasurer. Presently we are 52 members. The members are working in various Public, Private companies like Dolphin Systems, ICICI, Bajaj Alliance, Deccan School, TVS, Sholingur, College students, Govt. Doctors, Engineers, Sabari Industries, Ranipet, Opthamalagists, BHEL in various cadres, Enterpreneurs, etc.
Towards Individual development (ID) Programmes
We have conducted various Individual Development programmes to various sectors of society namely schools, colleges, Corporate Institutions like BHEL, HAL, LIC, Enterpreneurs, Electricity Boards, etc.,in the topics of :
Assertiveness, Reaching the Top, Enthusiasm your choice, Emotional Intelligence, Future, Team Dynamics, Art of Listening, Team Building, Goal setting, Power of Positive thinking, How to be a successful entrepreneur, Appreciative Inquiry, Ignite your mind, Effective Parenting, Breath & Food, Empowering Youth, Get Set Go, Catch the Men, Unlearning Unlimited, You are the Boss, Challenge, Problem No Problem, Time Management, Budgeting the Budget, Sharpen your axe, Path for Growth, Working Together Works, Leadership programmes for school children in DAV/Ramakrishna BHEL School, CSI, School, Tiruvalam Higher secondary school, Kanchipuram college of Arts and science, Mahalakshmi College of Arts & Science, Arcot. Faculties for such programmes are leading trainers of JCI – India
RPTPCJC was the first to conduct ID programmes for the prisoners of Vellore Jail & Government school for boys, Ranipet on the topic of Power of Positive Thinking.
Towards communal development
We have been also regularly associated with Tamilnadu Govt. programmes namely Polio camps, Diabetes Camp, Dental Camps, Vascetomy camps, Blood camps, Eye camps, Eye donation for the public of Ranipet and Vellore. We have conducted an exclusive medical camp for the Police families of Ranipet with Specialists in Gynecology, Heart, Child, Eye, etc. Few of the important activities are as below.
- 6 month Yoga Camp for the Children of Government school for boys
- Magneto therapy camp in Rural villages around Ranipet
- mobilized 3 Tonnes of used clothes to destitutes of Orissa Flood during the year 2000.
- Donation of Rs.15,000/ cash for the homeless due to the Gujarat Earthquake.
- We have planted around 2000 saplings in schools, colleges, orphanages etc.,
- Celebration of National functions in orphan schools.
- Rangoli / Kolam competition every during Pongal in and around Ranipet
- Financial aid to deserved +2 students in various schools in Ranipet
- Financial aids including Uniform distribution to deserved school children & college students
- Blood donation camps, vasectomy camp, Polio camps, Eye camps, Eye donations
- Medical Programmes with Tamilnadu Govt. BHEL etc.,
- Health awareness camp, NSS camp
- Cultural competitions in Schools.

Through Laugh & Clap we have conducted the Arattai Arangam in Ranipet in all Gala and Harmony to the benefit of the Public of Ranipet. An amount of Rs. 25,000/- was given to to Government School for boys in Ranipet.
